Word of the Month
This months word: Patience
The word of the month evolved out of many years of introducing meditation
into people's lives. Most people have had a knee jerk reaction to the word meditation
and complain that they can't meditate because their mind moves too fast. Everyone
feels that way! This technique has simplicity and depth. It can suit anyone's
lifestyle. It's suitable for the seasoned meditation practitioner as well as
the novice.
The process is this. Each month on the new moon a new word will be given to
ponder upon. The new moon is a great time to introduce new ideas into motion
that we want to grow into. The word is always a virtuous quality. The purpose
is to contemplate on the word, use it in conversation, feel it and become it.
Some words are easier to relate to than others.
Know this. Each virtue comes with its opposite or as we call it, the saboteur.
For instance, if the word is patience we may experience it's opposite which is
anger. Anger is not increased because we are focusing on patience rather we are
more aware of the dance between anger and patience. The seed of all opposites
is inherent in one another. You can't have a front without the back.
A saint in training is a human being learning to raise oneself from chronic
sabotage to having the courage to love more deeply, the discipline to discern
more completely, and the desire to have the great adventure of realizing our
true nature, our human nature; our oneness with our Divine nature.
Kindly join us in meditating on the word of the month. Please feel free to

on how the word may have unfolded for us during the past month. These sessions
